Stock Taking

So I have been busy sorting through the cupboards, just making a mental note of what I have.

Last year I bought lots of store cupboard ingredients when Asda was having a clearance, all of it was and still has a good date on it.

So still plenty in the cupboards.

Lots of baking ingredients.

 Fruits , nuts and seeds.

Plenty in the fridge and the three drawer freezer is full.

Plenty in the cleaning cupboard and also a big cupboard full of toiletries.

I have eggs and plenty of fruit and vegetables as well. I store the veg in the shed it keeps for much longer that way.

So January should be a low spend hopefully.

  2. Really good stores, that should keep you going for a while. Those baked beans are our favourite, I buy several 4 packs at a time when they're on a good special offer in one or other of the stores.

  7. I like to have well stocked cupboards too. Mine are looking a little bit empty now after Christmas. I should have done my weekly shop today but the weather was so good we went to the park instead. Should be a lower spend month for us too. X

    1. Yes. The park sounds better than shopping, I think most people will have a lower spend in January, I expect most are sick of eating after Christmas xx

  8. Blimey O'Reilly, that's a lot of food! I'm going to try to stick to a shopping list this year and not be tempted to buy other goods which we don't need. I'm easily led astray in the aisles!

  11. Impressive. You will be OK if it snows! I am into just in time shopping for my limited storage space - buy as things run out only! Though I will buy an extra big size if the price by unit is favourable.
