This weeks frugal food.

This weeks frugal food....

Monday was Salad, Cheese Omelette , Mushrooms , and the men had some wedges with theirs.

The plate shows what I eat.

Tuesday.

The swede was 22p and the brocolli 40p.

Wednesday.

Sausage, chips and beans.

Thursday.

Turkey Stew.

Friday .

Not so frugal, I am not feeling brilliant today, so I opted for takeaway (sort of).

14" Pizza £3.50

  3. Lovely meals and bargains too. I have to really be careful with portion sizes - I could be very greedy otherwise!

    2. Your omelette meal looks great. I found some yellow stickers at my local supermarket last week. Nothing like your bargains. All out of date Mr Kipling cakes, about 30 boxes and a whooping 20p off!!! Bet they end up in the bin!

  4. Brilliant use of your bargain food. You do so well with your yellow sticker food. To me, the benefits of beginning frugal means enjoying those treats without breaking the bank. They are the rewards for being careful. Well done Marlene you are a great example to us all. Tx

  5. Sorry if this is a repeat. My comment disappeared! You do do well on your yellow sticker food and you've put it to such good use. To me, the whole point of being frugal is being able to afford other things without breaking the bank. You are an example to us all. Well done Marlene. Tx

  7. I am always impressed by your yellow sticker finds and the wonderful meals that you make. I have had quite the haul this evening too, I went shopping late to avoid the rush and hit the reductions. I have put loads into the freezer for some scrumptious meals over the festive period.

  15. You're eating very well on your frugal bargains. You manage to find so many yellow stickers, I don't seem to hit on as many bargains as I used to.

    1. Thankyou Jo, yes we are, the little shop I discovered is now closing down which is a shame, but I find a trip to Morrison's on Sundays is enough to keep us going for several days.
