We all like a nice new book or the latest glossy magazine, I only buy books from the car boot sale, charity shop or the 1p books with £2.80 postage on Amazon .

I haven't had a magazine for ages so yesterday I thought I would treat myself.

October and November's Country Living
£4.20 each.

Not likely - you know me by now, 30p each from the car boot sale.

  4. That's great! I used some supermarket loyalty vouchers for my subscription, only trouble is although I'm happy to pass on and share, no one wants them so to the bin they go. My favourite magazine, Enjoy!

    1. That's a good idea using your loyalty vouchers, shame no one wants them I would never say no to a good read. First time I have picked up Country Living I know many enjoy it.

  5. All my mags come from the CS or the CB - usually between 20p and 50p each. It doesn't matter to me if they are out of date.

  6. That was a real bargain! I get Country Living at a discounted price, some special offer or other I saw a while back. They have some lovely things in them.

  7. Ha ha, I knew you were too much of a bargain hunter to pay full price. It's amazing how far in advance magazines are published, isn't it. We're only just in to October and there you are with not only this month's magazine but next month's too.

    1. It would be nice one day to have the luxury of a magazine subscription, but I would rather have the money at the moment x
