Very Proud Parents

I wouldn't usually do two posts in one day, but this deserves a mention.

Our son Jack has had some very exciting news this morning, he has just been awarded a scholarship for being the second highest achiever at University, this is for his work last year which was his first year, he will be getting a four figure cheque.

Well done Jack your hard work has paid off, we know you will go far.

Love you lots, xx

  11. I am not surprised you are so proud! Well done to Jack!

Just reading your previous post. No. No heating on here yet. I am of the 'put on an extra layer and carry a hot water bottle' way of thinking. When I was growing up our house had no central heating, some days you could scrape a thin layer of ice on the inside of the windows. It was cold. brr. Now, I am happy to keep the heating off for as long as possible, and I still keep my windows open just a little, all year round. Violet often moans at me. We do put the heating on of course, but I just prefer a bit of cold air swirling around and a hot water bottle on my feet! ;o) xx

    1. Thankyou Sadie he is such a hard working lad.

I will still open the windows in winter there is something nice about the morning air. I am getting hot flushes at night so if John gets cold I will keep him warm xx
