The other week we had a Great Tit looking in this nest box, but the Blue Tit's have claimed it and started to build a nest, next year we will try and get a nest box camera.

Not much about today at the Car boot sale. We just picked up some more plants.

Nice to see lots of colour in the garden.

I know what will happen we will get the garden all nice and established and then it will be time to move again, but we don't mind we like the garden to look nice and we will dig some plants up and take with us anyway.

  5. I am hoping that the changes I'm planning will allow for nesting boxes. Time will tell! It must be wonderful to watch all the activity and the anticipation of baby birds. At least the garden centres are full of promises of Spring, even if our weather isn't!

  8. I haven't noticed any birds checking out my nest box yet but we had blue tits in there last year so I'm hopeful we'll have some nest building going on soon. It would be great if you could get a camera set up in there, wouldn't it, I think those nest cams are brilliant. I've just read back through your last post, how lucky were you seeing two kingfishers together, such a great header photo, I've only ever seen one at once.

    1. Hi Jo I always watch Spring Watch and all the nature programmes, when we have our own place I want to transform it into a little wildlife haven and cameras will be on the list. I still can't get over seeing the kingfishers, it was a great day x
