Getting Creative

First of all thankyou to Sara for sending me this lovely vintage postcard. I will treasure it.

Now apart from making a few cards I am not really a crafty person, but once upon a time I dabbled in jewellery making, and have decided to give it another go.

I know Ebay is flooded with handmade items, can anyone recommend a better place to sell?

I am going to make simple charm jewellery, I have only purchased a few supplies so far, so won't be selling any for some time as I am sourcing supplies at the minute, I want to specialise in nature and animals.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated .

  2. Lovely pieces. As you say, there are so many selling, but as Sara suggests there is Etsy, and other online shopping areas such as Not on the High Street. If you are on FB a lot of people have business pages on there too. Don't forget the overseas market, if people are happy to pay international postage then British made goods of British theme often sell very well.

  4. There is also Folksy which is very similar to Etsy. Craft markets/sales are good periodically and you get to meet a lot of like minded people. Some craft shops will sell your wares for a commission. Hope that helps.

  7. I love those foxes, how cute are they. No advice I'm afraid, it's not something I've ever done but good luck with it, I look forward to seeing what you're selling.
