Some Pretty Plants for the garden.

Does anyone know when Sweet Williams are in the garden centres?

And a few things from the Charity Shop

Alfred Meakin dish £2.99

Only £1.00 for all these 3 plates, I really love these.

A little display cabinet from Freecycle, which will be kept in the spare room to put all my collectables and finds in.

The Vintage Sadler Blue Teapot came from Freecycle as well.

    1. Thankyou Louise, I would love to see some of your finds, I have my dresser and my sideboard which houses some everyday things, I still want to get some more sideboards or display cabinets when I see them on Freecycle for the spare room and this can house any bargains I find, I do love collectables and china, x

  6. Isn't it wonderful to get some lovely pretties for next to nothing? I do like the Meakin dish especially. It looks footed? I am afraid I am on a self imposed ban from charity shops unless taking things in these days.

  7. Hi Deborah, the dish isn't footed. I have a regular clear out and sell a few bits, then I don't feel bad buying more, it is hard to find a bargain in the charity shops these days x

    1. I only keep them on a cupboard or cabinet, I don't actually have much on display, I don't like clutter, x

  10. Lots of pretties in this post. I love anemones but had never grown them myself until last year, they're such pretty flowers. I actually got round to sowing some Sweet Williams myself last year so I'm looking forward to seeing them flower this year, I'm not sure when they sell them in garden centres, probably late in the season ready for flowering the following year but I don't know for certain. The Alfred Meakin dish is lovely, you got a bargain there.
