Well done you. I LOVE Christmas but I just couldn't make cards in January. You are WELL prepared!
I always do it because when its cold outside theres not much else to do x
Love your cards-x-
Thankyou Shelia x
So relaxing and really productive, they look lovely too xx
Yes it was very relaxing x
I love your cards Marlene :) I hope to make more soon but I've run out of the blanks I normally use and the shop has sold out ! x
Thankyou Fiona, I must do some general birthday ones next x
The cards are lovely Marlene, traditional Christmas colouring. I was going to place an order this afternoon if I can muster the enthusiasm for some red/green and printed card. I'm short of border too.
I got the red and green in from amazon, they were in a mixed pack x
Now that is what I call organisation. They are beautiful and a great way to recycle. I usually use them for tags but you have certainly inspired me to think a little differently.
I do tags as well, x
They look really good, I'm starting to make cards soon as I've started collecting some bits - inevitable really x
Thankyou Jo, I don't spend much, just pick up a few odd bits here and there when cheap enough x
It is obviously a hobby, to make cards, and they are undoubtedly pretty and original, but do you actually save any money by the time you've bought all your materials and the envelopes? Or have you not worked out the cost of it all and do this simply because you really enjoy it? Margaret P
They're really lovely, and I see the one there which I sent to you. I love the idea that someone else will get to enjoy it for another Christmas. I wish I'd saved my cards now, they went in one of the card recycling bins.
Beautiful. NOw this is a dumb question but here goes. I assume you cut off the inside then attach the outside to a new inside? If that is how you do it, do you tape or glue them?
