I am not having much luck at these car boot sales, hubby is always finding something useful. Once again all I have bought is fruit and veg, and plants.

I spent £3.00 on a large, cabbage, parsnips, broccoli and a bag of pears.

A Chryasnthemum for £1.00 & an Azalea for £4.00

All I got today were these lovely Dahlias £2.00 a bunch, the bunch was big enough to split into two.

I do love flowers in the home.

Freebies.

Well the postman didn't really bring me any freebies this week, I did get this though.

£10.00 gift card from a survey site.

  1. Is it azaleas that like acid soil?? They are very pretty flowers. I would like to assign part of my garden to be able to have cut flowers.

    1. Not sure, Well I thought about doing that in the area where I am now growing veg, I will see how it goes, but I'd rather grow more edibles.

  4. Well, fruit, veg, and plants are useful by my reckoning. I'd be so happy if we had the sort of trading fairs you have. I had a little bit of luck too, last week. I won a beautiful, hand painted paperweight on Create and Craft courtesy of Folk It! and then I won £50.00 of Lakeland vouchers for filling in a Craft's Beautiful survey. Goes to show, someone does win those survey vouchers.

    2. I used to craft a lot ~ self taught sewing, followed by cross stitch, stencilling, patchwork and quilting, knitting, crochet, encaustic painting, beading and jewellery making, card making, and I'll have a go at almost anything that takes my eye. I've just bought a Folk It! kit to try my hand at that next.
Call me a Jack of All Trades, but it's fun!

    1. Hi Jo I wouldn't cut them if they were in the garden, there is a man at the car boot who just brings Dahlias every week, they get snapped up really quickly x
